Mr. N.H.C.K. Karunatilaka, as the Managing Partner of NHK Associates – (Chartered Accountants) and the Managing Director of D & K Secretaries (Pvt) Ltd, is deeply involved in a wide array of professional services. His expertise encompasses Audit and Assurance, Accounting, Tax Consultancy & Taxation, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and various related services. Additionally, he personally oversees all client services, ensuring comprehensive support tailored to their diverse needs.

Mr Karunatilaka was a Partner at RTA Sri Lanka and held directorship positions in two secretarial companies affiliated with the RTA group, namely SSL Secretarial Services (Pvt) Ltd and Business Allied Services (Pvt) Ltd. He is a highly experienced finance and administration professional with a career spanning over 30 years in the audit and commercial sectors.

Mr. Karunatilaka has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He is a Fellow Member (FCA) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, an Associate Member (ACMA) of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka, and a Founder Member (MCPM) of the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers.

His qualifications also include intermediate-level taxation certifications from the Sri Lanka Institute of Taxation. Throughout his career, Mr. Karunatilaka has gained extensive audit experience across various industries, including leisure, banks, finance companies, plantation companies, real estate, manufacturing, trading, construction, services sector, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

With over 23 years of senior management-level experience in finance, internal auditing, administration, business valuation, business restructuring, and business transformation, Mr. Karunatilaka possesses a diverse skill set. He is known for his strategic thinking, strong analytical abilities, sound judgment, and decision-making skills.

Mr. Karunatilaka has proven his ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and has experience across multiple industries. He thrives in high-pressure work environments and is dedicated to delivering results. His key strengths include analytical skills, interpersonal communication, data analysis, problem-solving, business transformation, time management, leadership, and risk assessment.
